During Laconia Motorcycle Week aka Laconia Bike Week, No vehicles other than motorcycles are allowed on Weirs Beach Boulevard.
The Winnipesaukee Railroad provides people with a nostalgic scenic method of getting to and from Weirs Beach Boulevard which doesn't involve sitting in hours of traffic. Their train service makes frequent trips in and out Weirs Beach from Lakeport (Starts 11:00) or Meredith (Starts 10:30).
If you arrive early before first departure, there is free parking available at both Meredith or Lakeport.Ê The round trip fare is $12.50 per person and no discounts or coupons are honored during bike week.

We cross the end of Meredith Bay and proceed over Bear Island and you have a clear view of the White Mountains to the North and the Ossipee Mountains to the East. On clear days you can see to Mount Washington, the largest peak in the northeast.
