The Laconia Motorcycle Week, aka Laconia Bike Week, takes over Laconia N H., a town of 16,000 in the foothills of the White Mountains, each June. This year's rally will begin on Saturday June 9th and run through Sunday June 17th . Each year the rally attracts about a half a million people from the U.S. and Canada to Weirs Beach Resort area.
Laconia Motorcycle Week is America's "Original Motorcycle Rally" officially founded In 1917 as part of the of the Federation of American Motorcyclists "Gypsy Tour." Now in it's 89th year, the event still offers a unique riding and rally experience for thousands of bikers from around the world.
Rally Headquarters is located at the Weirs Beach Waterslide and is open from 9AM–9PM and is the place to find information, tours, and souvenirs. Make sure you register AMA National Gypsy Tour when you visit Rally Headquarters!
Harley-Davidson will be at two locations to celebrate Laconia Motorcycle Week in Laconia, N.H. with riders, customers and motorcycle enthusiasts from June 8 – 16, 2013.
The Harley-Davidson Laconia Motorcycle Week location at the Weirs Beach Lobster Pound at 72 Endicott Street, Route 3 North in Laconia, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily as a Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) pin stop with new product displays and a women's area featuring the JUMPSTART motorcycle experience and bike lift demonstrations.
At the Harley-Davidson Jumpstart you can experience what it is to be on a Harley-Davidson - without the need for a motorcycle license!
The Official Kick-Off event for Laconia Motorcycle Week, is the Peter Makris Memorial Run. This "feet up" run departs from the Naswa Resort with a police escort. See the video on left for information about the organizations that benefit from this event.
The 90th Annual Loudon Classic, the oldest motorcycle race in the country will continue the tradition of exciting, must-see activities as well as thrilling motorcycle racing at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 15, 16 and 17.
